Room over ride

I have a google nest in my kitchen and mini in the bedroom. I recently had electrical work done, turning off main power.

Ever since when I talk to Google in the kitchen it  either * replies in the bedroom

Or * says there was a glitch and try again. 🤔

Hi Piximum,

Thanks for posting—let's get this sorted out. Try to do the troubleshooting steps below:

  • Unplug your Google Nest Hub from the power outlet for 2 mins > Plug it back in.
  • Give it a test command. If the issue persists;
  • Open the Google Home app > Devices > Tap your Google Nest Hub > Settings > Remove device > Remove.
  • Back to “Devices”, scroll down to Other cast/Local devices > Tap your Google Nest Hub > Add to a room. Follow the steps in adding it back to a room.
  • Give it another test command.

Let me know how it goes.

Regards,
Alex
