Safety Shut Off Mode Samsung Washer/Dryer

I just connected my Samsung Washer and Dryer to the SmartThings App and they are linked to my Google Home now as well. However anytime I try to give google a command for either, it responds “The washer/dryer is in safety shut off mode, so it will have to be adjusted by hand.” Is there any way to fix this so I can control it from google home?
