Screen issues with nest hub

A couple of weeks ago a large  black vertical line and another grey one appeared on the screen of my nest hub 2nd generation. Tried to factory reset but without result. The black line hides a large part of the information displayed preventing from reading it.

The device was offered to me last Christmas and has never been moved from my bed side table. I am considering returning the device unless an update is responsible for the issue and these one can be fixed. Any one else with a similar issue? Any existing solution?

To better understand the situation, I'd like to ask a few questions:

 

  • Was the Nest Hub dropped or knocked over?
  • Is the display's Assistant working?
  • What are the troubleshooting steps you've already tried besides a factory reset?
