Seems to be a common issue: Nest Hub 2nd Gen screen burn in?

it started probably 6months ago from the left of the screen…to now, where nearly the entire screen has burn in. It’s never been dropped and we’ve never  moved it from this spot on the countertop. I’ve been scrolling through these threads and this seems to be a common issue? This device is is less than two years old and gets little use ( used to check the weather from time to time). I’m hoping someone from Google can offer some reassurances that this issue is being looked at so that future Google devices will have improved reliability and longevity. I don’t want to keep purchasing a replacement every 1.5 years.

Hello Helloyou89,

Thanks for reaching out.

We're sorry to hear that you're experiencing that with your Google Nest display. I'd love to help you with this. First, let's make sure that the original power cable of your Google Nest speaker is used and plugged in directly to the power source. After that, let's perform a complete reset and set it up again. Here's how: https://goo.gle/32c7nIF

Keep me posted.

Best,
