Setting audio to play automatically a default audio group for a specific device

I used to be able set the "Default music speaker" as a an audio "group", ie. all my speakers on the main floor. I can only seemingly select an individual devices as the default speaker now. Was there a change that I'm unaware of?

Here's the steps on how to select default music speakers:

  2. Open the Google Home app Google Home app.
  3. Touch and hold your device's tile.
  4. At the top right, tap Settings and then Audio, then:
    1. To choose the TV or speaker that you want to use when you play music, tap Default music speaker.
    2. To choose your preferred TV, tap Default TV.

Displays

  1. Make sure your mobile device or tablet is linked to the same account as your display.
  2. Open the Google Home app Google Home app.
  3. Touch and hold your device's tile.
  4. At the top right, tap Settings , then:
    1. To choose the TV or speaker that you want to use when you play music, tap Audio and then Default music speaker, then choose the TV or speaker that you want to use when you play music.
    2. To choose your preferred TV, tap Display and then Default TV, then choose your preferred TV.

To reset your preferred device, tap Reset.

Let me know if these steps work.

Can anyone help? Is it because of that Sonos lawsuit?

Thank you, I realized the reason I didn't see my speaker groups was because I was logged under a different Google account within my home app.
