Setting max volume my Nest Audio can achieve when controlled by voice.

Cannot find any way, please help.

EDIT:

I am so sorry to not have done a better job of explaining my issue.

Issue: I want to set the maximum volume my Google Nest Audio can achieve when controlled by voice.

Situation: Sometimes it is the dead of the night and I am trying to listen to some music on my Nest Audio and by accident, if I say " turn the volume to 10" rather than 10 *percent*, the speakers go all guns blaring and sets itself to the max volume it can achieve. Definitely woke up my room-mates 😄

Hope that helps explain my situation and question in more detail.

@androidpixelfan

What is it you are trying to do? Are you saying the "Max volume" command does not set the volume on your Nest Hub to 10? If so, what happens instead?

Hi androidpixelfan,

This is not the experience we want you to have; let me help you. A few questions: which Nest speakers are we working with? When did your issue begin? Were there any recent changes made?

By the way, have you seen MplsCustomer’s response? Have you followed the steps from the link provided above? Let us know of the answers so we could take a closer look at them.

Best,

Dan

So sorry for being vague in my questioning. I have updated the post with more details, hope that would help. Thanks!

If you would like to see a maximum volume value that Google Nest would allow when changing volume on speakers by voice, that would be a change or enhancement that you could request via "Feedback":

Note that Google Nest does not respond to "Feedback".
