Hi, I've had a Google Nest hub 2nd generation for a while and it's always worked great. I recently moved to Gabon and when I arrived and tried to set up my hub again, the sleep tracking and motion tracking functions have disappeared. What's going on?

I'm just another Google Nest customer, but it could be because you moved to another country.
Google Nest says "Sleep Sensing isn't currently available in all languages or countries."

It seems they're going to charge a fee for it, and that will vary by country:

We don't use it, but I can't find out which countries ARE supported.

Good find on the reference, but unfortunately that doesn't make any practical sense. Google is failing by not providing a transparent list of where it is allowed, or explaining why they wouldn't allow it in certain geographic areas. I'd love to see an official response on why I can't use a feature I've paid for in the hardware, but I suspect they're never going to reply.

Hi henrym,
MplsCustomer is correct. Since Google Home isn't officially launched in Gabon, features may or may not work. You might encounter some issues while setting this up. I understand that this would be very helpful, however this option is not available.
In line with this, we want to encourage you to send feedback from your end and we’re hoping for all the possibilities by taking our user’s feedback and suggestions.
