Sling stopped working on Nest Hubs

My Nest Hubs started responding with "Sorry, I don't understand" when tapping the Sling icon. Looking in the Home app, my Sling account had a linked status. I've rebooted and factory reset all Hub devices. I unlinked my Sling account. When I went to link using my non-Google email address, I got a JavaScript error without typing anything in the Login form. I changed my Sling email address to be my Google address. I was able to then get a linked status on Home. When I command the hub, "Hey Google play ESPN on Sling", the Sling app fires up and then I get a black screen and nothing plays. The Sling app on my phone works fine. I can cast to the display, but would rather stream natively.

Hi @aspr,

Thank you very much for contacting this community! I understand that your Nest Hub only responds with "Sorry, I don't understand" when you try to use the Sling app. For this, I appreciate you taking the necessary time to perform troubleshooting steps like factory resetting, unlinking, and linking your account, among others, but despite this, you've encountered a JavaScript error. I'm here to help you!

Regarding what you've experienced when you say "Hey Google, play ESPN on Sling," and "the Sling app fires up and then I get a black screen and nothing plays," I would like to suggest that you contact Sling directly to verify if there's any update within the application or to check if anything else is happening on their end.

Keep me posted.

Best regards,
Eduardo
