Sold speaker on ebay and forgot to remove my account

I sold a speaker on ebay and forgot to reset it and remove my account. Now buyer is requesting to join my Google Nest home? I don't use these things can someone give advice?

Go into Google home, remove that device from your home, have the buyer do a factory reset, and your good to go!

is not a big problem, the new buyer cannot do anything with it. He will anyway need to factory reset it by himself.
