Speaker not working fully

The Google nest mini speaker seems to be not playing to it's full volume. I could hear the music playing only when I put the device close to my ear..even when the volume is 100%. I have already tried doing the hard reset.

Is this some kind of a hardware issue? Kindly help with feedback. Thanks.

I appreciate the steps that you have already taken to solve the situation. Don't worry; help is here. I just need to ask for some information to provide the best solution:

  • If you ask something of the Google Nest Mini, does it respond or does it not respond completely?
  • Is the speaker powered on?
  • After the hard reset, is the Google Nest Mini successfully set up?
  • What color is the LED status light on the Google Nest Mini?
