Speakergroup not being used

JohanL1974

Hello,

I have setup a speaker group of 2 Google Nest Mini in my living room. At first it seemed to work when i tell google to play some music it played on both speakers. But later it starts to play only on one speaker. How can i make sure that music allways plays at the whole group at not just one speaker?

Thanks!

Hey JohanL1974,

Welcome to the Google Nest Community Forum.

Apologize for the late response. I know how challenging it is when you're having issues playing music on speaker groups. A few questions - when did the issue start? How far are your speakers from the router? Does the same thing happen when you cast music from your phone to your speaker group?

Please try these steps below:

  1. Move your Google Nest Minis within 15-20 ft. away from the router to get enough signal from your network.
  2. Reboot your Google speakers and router by disconnecting them from the power source and leave them unplugged for 1 minute. Once done, plug them back one at a time with intervals.
  3. Try to play music in your speaker group.

Let me know how it goes.

Cheers,

Muddi
