I can't stream Spotify to Google nest, I can stream radio services, Youtube music, but once I ask Google to play my music it says it will play it from Spotify but nothing, silence. Started yesterday. I had never problems in past 4 years. I have done reboot, unlinked accounts, reinstalled apps, reconncted wifi, but nothing. Spotify works fine on phone app, music playing, when I choose Google nest speaker to play a song, on app stops playing it and no sound on nest. I have seen on Reddit that people have problems lately. I also have latest updates to apps and Android.

It has to be a bug or something and I just wonder how this isn't a huge issue online and why Google and Spotify don't solve it straight away. It can't be user fault?

It is NOT resolved. It plays Spotify on Nest Hub 2nd gen, but there's no sound. Pandora works.

It's working again for me this morning. When I get the feeling it was a glitch on their server end of things.

There is still a problem casting to Spotify. Sometimes it will play 12 or more songs then sometimes won't even make it halfway through the song. Checked the forums over at Spotify and I'm not the only one.

I've experienced a similar issue with my Chromecast 4K and Samsung 4K TV. It's frustrating that Netflix content on the TV displays in 4K, but the Chromecast only manages HD. Even after reaching out to Netflix, they claim it's not their problem. Any advice or solutions, Loklok apk ?

It sounds like you've already tried a lot of the basic troubleshooting steps, but since this issue started recently and seems to be affecting others too, it might be a temporary issue with the Spotify-Google Nest integration. I followed some basic troubleshooting steps and resolved the issue, but I am not sure which step actually worked for me:
Checked and verified that Spotify account is correctly linked to your Google Nest. Sometimes unlinking and relinking can cause mismatches or require reauthorization. Xheck if your Nest speaker is set as the default music output for Spotify. You can also try manually selecting the Nest speaker within the Spotify app when trying to stream. Cleared all caches. Recheck account linking. If voice commands aren’t working, try selecting your Google Nest speaker directly in the Spotify app under the "Devices" section to see if the music plays. Since others have mentioned similar problems, it could be a temporary outage or bug with Spotify or Google Nest.

Yeah, tried all that. Even bought a new Google Nest. It worked until the firmware updated itself, then back to the same issue. I'm working directly with Google support on this now. Will see what they come back with.

Any update on this? I am having the same issue

All of my devices stopped loading Spotify through the app, and ONLY worked if I used my phone to cast to them (and not even every time). Finally figured out the problem. The DNS servers that my Frontier internet provider was using was causing the issue. So I changed the DNS settings to 1.1.1.1 and 8.8.8.8 in the router settings. Now everything is working perfectly.
