Spotify stops playing a song for a few seconds.

My device is Nest HUB gen2. My problem is that Spotify stops and restarts randomly while playing a song. For a few seconds, but it's quite annoying. It does this 2-3 times per song for 90% of the songs. Only Spotify does this, Youtube videos run smoothly on it. I tried relinking the app and restarting the HUB, but neither helped. Does anyone else have this problem?
