I've set up a routine to play music from a playlist with over 200 songs on it. The routine starts the music on a volume of 3 then after 4 minutes it changes it to 5. It's meant to wake me up in the morning. As I'm a really heavy sleeper I don't tend to hear any of the standard alarm noises so blasting music is the only things that's woken me up consistently.
The issue that I'm having is that when I start the playlist from a Google Routine, it doesn't shuffle the whole playlist. It picks three songs at random and repeats them over and over. Definitely wakes me up but I'd to be able to get up, get ready for the day and have a shower with the music still playing. Ideally not the same thing over and over.
Strangely enough if I use the exact same command (shuffle <playlist name> on YouTube Music) after saying "Hey Google" it plays it perfectly. Anyone know what's happening here?

Hi XandaPanda42,
Thank you for using this channel to get help from us.
I love to hear my music playing before I go to sleep too, let me help you. A few questions: was this working before? If so, when did you notice your issue started? Do you use Google speaker to play your routines? Which of them do you have?
Try these steps:
Let me know how it goes.

Thank you for the reply. The issue seemed to have resolved itself for a few days. Rather than using the routine "custom command" to "shuffle <playlist> in YouTube music" I tried the play music command.
It's now "play music" and under playlist name it's "shuffle <playlist> on YouTube music"
This seems to work better. Occasionally it still picks a few songs and plays them on repeat but most of the time it's working now.
