When I say Hey Googly Play News into my phone it only plays on Nest. Even if I am in a totally different room.
How do I get my phone playing the news again? Is the only way to unpair device from nest ?

Hi @Leonyin this is a persistent problem everyone has, but yours is in reverse, most complain that the phone is answering when they want the Nest speaker to respond.
Try adjusting the sensitivity of your devices, that may help, especially if you have a booming or loud voice. In this case, you would probably follow instructions to reduce the sensitivity of your Nest, not the phone.

Thanks, this solved the problem. You're right, I could not find any threads or help on this issue after Googling around for quite a while. But turns out this is feedback about my loud voice! E.g. If I whisper into my phone, the News will stream in my mobile not the Nest .....
I have turned sensitivity on the Net down -1, and will also just talk to Google a little softer from here on LOL

You can always type the command after activating the assistant by pressing the mic in the home app or if you have a button shortcut on your phone's home screen. In the lower right, there's a keyboard image and you can tap that and type commands if you'd like.
