I have several Google/Nest devices along with non-Google Bluetooth speakers like the JBL Flip 4. I currently have all the Google devices set up as a group and they all play music synchronously.
Can I add non-Google Bluetooth speakers to this group?
I know I can pair my JBL with one of the Google devices and set the JBL as the default speaker for the selected Google device, but that would replace the audio output from the Google device to the JBL. If I have music playing from 3 Google speakers, I’m trying to set it up so that the JBL is the 4th speaker.

Hi Jake,
I still haven’t been able to set it up so that there are 3 Google speakers + 1 JBL speaker all inside a group simultaneously playing music. Any tips here?
The only thing I could do is replace the audio for 1 of the Google speakers to route through the JBL instead. So still only 3 speakers playing together, not 4.

Hey RJ00,
Sorry to hear you are still running into trouble playing music on multiple speakers. Do you mind me asking if you have created a group yet through the app? You will need to add all the devices you are wanting to use to the group. I did find a helpful article with more details. Please let me know if that helps, or if you are still having any trouble from here.
Best regards,
Jake
