Hello Pw24,

Thanks for reaching out. Sorry to hear that you're having issues connecting your Matter device to the Google Nest Hub. To confirm, have you set up your Eve Smart plug on the native app? If not, please make sure to set up the device first from the manufacturer's app. After you complete the setup, follow the manufacturer instructions to share device access with the Google Home app.

Here;s a link that may be helpful to you: Manage Matter-enabled devices in the Google Home app

Hope this helps.

Cheers,

Muddi

Hi Pw24,

To confirm, are you able to see your matter device on the Google Home app during set up?

Hey Pw24,

Could you tell us what happens when you search for a particular device during setup? Does it have an error message? If the Google Home app was not able to detect your device during set-up, I suggest that you contact the manufacturer so they can guide you on how to set it up using a third-party application like the Google Home app.

Muddi

Yes the device is found & then I scan the QR code l, the setup process starts but then it either gets stock on Checking network Connectivity or come up with Cannot connect to Thread network.  Incan successful connect to Alexa using MATTER so it does not look like the manufacturer is the problem looks like Google Hardware or Google Home is the issue for me. I've rebooted & factory reset Nest hub 2nd gen but this has not fixed the Google Issue?

Hi Pw24,

To confirm, does your WiFi router use Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) 802.11 standard? Also, what is the make and model of your router?
