Turn off mic will turn on the display

Use case:

I'm on my bed watching a google documentary on my TV, I want my nest to stop thinking I want to speak with him while I watch this documentary, so I'll ask him to turn off the display, he does it without problems.

but now I want to stop listening because it keeps popping due to listening google over the TV, so with the display off, I want to active the DND disturb mode, just to find that this will TURN ON my screen to show me "do not disturb on" making almost impossible to have the screen off and the DND on for quite some time.

Alternatives to solutionate this issue:
A) Have a turn off display button from the NEST HUB, so we can put the display off with the DND mode ON

B) If the screen is off, then stop turning on the display to show the message that I just pressed the button.

how to reproduce:
A) Ask google to turn off display.
B) Try to change the DND button from the back of the display
C) See how the screen gets on to show the "DND is ON" while leaving the display ON, which was not the original state of the nest before making the change.

It's impossible to have the nest with the display off and watching a movie or anything that says google without the nest screen turning up and distracting you from the PC.

Nest 2 hub, lastest firmware pushed to it available / sent to the device.

I can record a video anytime, but right now, the most easy solution is to disconnect from the power source the nest, until I want to use it again because it keeps popping up the display on or I need to leave it with the clock/alarm display.
