For a year or so, I've been playing YouTube videos on my Pixel 8 Pro and casting the audio to my Nest Mini. Suddenly today this has stopped working. I choose "cast entire screen" and the Nest Mini plays a fanfare, but instantly my phone displays a message saying "casting has ended" and the sound continues playing through my phone. I've restarted phone and Nest Mini, factory reset the Nest Mini, my phone is completely up to date with software updates, and I restarted my WiFi router only last night. Both devices are definitely on the same network. The same thing happens if I play media in other apps and try to cast to Nest Mini. This is so frustrating, especially when both products are manufactured by Google!

Hi - thanks for the response. Google Home app version is: Version 3.29.157.6. Play Store isn't offering any update. And no, no other error messages, I can simply no longer cast audio from YouTube. Interestingly, I CAN cast from YouTube Music app.
I know it worked previously, as I've used this function regularly to play the audio from relaxing 'soundscape' videos through the Nest Mini. It's only very recently it's stopped working.
