Unable to listen to US radio stations from the UK

I have just purchased three Google Nest Audio speakers, to replace my Sonos system. My main use is for radio, and I am a music reviewer so I want to continue to listen to US radio stations, as I did on my Sonos, via either Tune In or My Tuner. HOWEVER, the Nest Audio won’t play these stations. I got a call back from Google Help and the assistant assured me that purchasing TuneIn Premium would allow me to play them. 

So I purchased TuneIn Premium. 1) I cannot find how to connect this to the Nest Audio, despite looking up all the Help. 2) TuneIn Premium will NOT play US  stations on my iPad - “This Station is not available in your area”. Therefore, will it also not play them on the Nest Audio. The Google Assistant on the phone didn’t really know anything about my problem.

I think I’m going to have to return these three Speakers 😞

You clearly did not read or understand my problem. The link you gave me I had already read several times, and it ONLY applies to people in the US, as it says on the second line under ‘Note:’

Hi Eilis,

Sorry for that. I did some research and the only way to tune radio in the UK is through TuneIn Premium. If TuneIn is not playing US radio is due their restrictions. Please try using a VPN or contact directly TuneIn for further assistance.
