Unable to set Night mode

I am unable to set the night mode in my new Xiaomi Mi smart Clock due to the settings are lost when I move to the previous screen (Notification and Digital wellness).

Hi @frisalde

You'll need to reach out to Xiaomi for specific instructions on that.   Their smart devices work a bit differently than the Made by Google devices supported here.

Thanks.

My approach was that the support should be provided by the manufacturer of the Home App due to the problem is not the device doesn't obey the App indications, if not, the settings which are configured in the "night mode" screen are lost as soon as you go back that configuration menu. Ie. I am not able to switch on the "night mode"

I hear you. It's just that the Xiamoi products do have different outcomes with the settings even with the  Google Home app.

I can let a community specialist check on this just in case they have more info to help.

Hi folks,

@JillG, thanks for the help.

@frisalde, thanks for reaching out and for providing detailed information on your issue. Is this the first time that you are using this feature or you were able to access this before? Are you using an Android or iOS?

Check if your Google Home app is updated by going to the Playstore for Android or App store for iOS. Force close and reopen the app to refresh the app may also help. If it's the same you can reboot your phone. Uninstalling and reinstalling the Google Home app might work as well.

Keep me posted.

Thanks everybody.

it is the first time I have had to use this feature due to I have just bougth the Xiaomi Mi smart clock, thus I haven't seen it works.

On the other hands, Google Home app is updated  (2.63.1.12) and I am trying to configure this feature by means of Android's mobile, Xiaomi,

For a better understading I have made a screenrecorder video which can be found in next link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1_ySo7akSBES5qLFYqy54qXJXgDLQLYbv/view?usp=share_link .

Hey frisalde,

Chiming in, to ensure everything is covered here. Just to add, we have very limited support on third party speakers with built-in Google Assistant like Xiaomi Mi Smart Clock. If uninstalling and re-installing the Google Home app did not fix the issue you will need to reach out to them for better assistance. Also, please check with your device manufacturer if you're device support night mode feature.

Cheers,

Muddi
