Google Nest Hub Max Camera Repeatedly Offline

Chanther

My Google Next Hub Max was installed in early January.  Since its installation, the camera will work when the device starts, but the camera will go offline some time later - sometimes in just minutes, sometimes in a matter of hours.  The camera then can't be reactivated through the Hub or through the Google Home app; the only way to get it to turn on is by unplugging it and plugging it back in.  The camera always comes back online when it's restarted, but then goes randomly goes offline again later on.

Additionally, when the camera IS online, it sometimes is and sometimes is not available through the Google Home app.  I haven't been able to discern a pattern to this, other than internet connection and wifi connection not being the issue.

@Chanther

Just to make sure it is NOT a Wi-Fi connection issue, have you tried temporarily moving your Nest Hub Max to a location closer to a Wi-Fi access point? This would only be to test whether the location makes a difference.

Does the Hub itself have connection/offline issues, or is it just the camera?

Hey folks,

Thanks for visiting the Community.

I know how challenging it is when you're having issues with the built-in camera of your Google Nest Hub Max. To confirm, have you tried the steps provided by @MplsCustomer? Also, you can try setting up your Nest Hub Max to a new home structure then check if there are any changes on your device behavior.

Let me know how it goes.

Cheers,
