I have a Nest Mini hooked up to speakers and the delay is so bad that it wont sync up to the rest of the group using the Group Delay Correction. Its almost as if it more delayed than what is ms given on the delay slider, HELP! I ended up taking it out the speaker group entirly because I could figure it out and now that group is flawless, its wierd because this problem just poped up recently never had this happen before.

Hi kcollins,
This is not the experience we want you to have, let me help you. A few questions: aside with your Nest Mini, which Nest speakers or other third-party speakers are we working with? When did your issue begin? Were there any recent changes made? To confirm, the delay only happens when your Nest Mini is added to the speaker group?
You could try to revert your Nest Mini back to its original state and set it up again by doing a factory reset. Here’s how:
Tell us how it goes.

Dan

Hey Dan I actually missspoke I have the Home mini (1st gen) but I factory reset it. I have them bluetoothed with a third party speaker the Audioengine A2+ there were no recent changes made at all. After my factory reset I tried the speakers out again and the delay persisted.

Hey kcollins,
I understand! I wanted to confirm if your Google Home Mini is where you give the command for your speakers to play, or is it the Audioengine A2+? It would help a lot if you could disconnect your Google Home from the other Bluetooth speaker and connect a phone or laptop directly to your Google Home Mini via Bluetooth. Play a video or some music and see if the delay is still there. We need to isolate this further to know what steps to take next.

Dan

Hey there,
Thanks for the update. I’m glad that it’s all sorted. It looks like you just need to remove recent paired Bluetooth devices and then pair Audioengine A2+ again on Google Home Mini’s bluetooth.
Please let me know if you still have any concerns or questions from here, as I would be happy to take a closer look and assist you further.
Best,
Alex
