Please upgrade this to have proper AI. It can't even set 3 alarms in one command, that's how dumb these devices are. I will never be buying another one of Google Home devices until the current devices are upgraded - I have 2 of them at home and don't want to thrown them away soon while they are fully functional but crippled by software. Save the planet! No unnecessary e-Waste!

It's awful. I ask it to turn on the lights and it starts to play music.

Haha. Recently if I say set the alarm at "quarter to 10am", it set the alarm at 3:45am. I woke up startled as you can imagine. So I have learnt to now change my command to "set the alarm at nine forty five am".. Mind you my previous command worked fine for the last few years.

Hi folks,
Thanks for reaching out, and I know how it feels when something isn’t working as it should. A few questions: what Nest speaker or display model are we working on? When did it begin? Were there any recent changes made?
Let’s try to refresh your devices and observe if it makes a difference. First, reboot your Wi-Fi router, and once the network is back up, do the same thing to your Google Nest speaker or display.
Regards,
Juni

Hi Juni. Thanks for your suggestions. I had already done that (reboots) before posting the issue online. I have a Home Display mini 2nd gen and Home mini 2nd gen (bought in 2019). I have noticed this past week that the home mini just ignores me completely a few times until I shout commands at it, then it will respond. Thanks.

Hi Just_a_regular1,
Thanks for the details you’ve shared. Try the factory reset; this erases all your personalized settings and restores the factory default settings. It won’t automatically reconnect to WI-Fi, and you’ll need to set it up again. Check out the article below to know more about it.
Factory reset Google Nest or Home speakers or displays
