Hi, my goigle nest wired camera was working perfectly fine until 2 days ago. Now my google hub doesn't announce when someone has rang the doorbell but if I ask it to show me the camera it does. The doorbell does work with the google minis. I have set both the doorbell and the hub to factory settings and nothing I have also unlinked both from my account and re added and still nothing.

I’m also having an issue with the Visitor Announcement. I have 3 mini’s and 2 displays. It used to work but now it’s not announcing anything. I have a wired nest doorbell. Reading some posts from the past people suggested removing everything, doing factory resets and re-building everything. There’s gotta be a better answer I hope.

Hey,
i also have a similar problem, I have a couple of minis, and a 7” hub, and the wired nes hello, all my devices announce by sound that there are somebody at the door, but my Nest Hub just switches to a white screen, and stays that way until I swipe to got to Home Screen.
the announcement function worked properly on all devices a week ago, but now it just goes white, I have tried factory resetting the hub, but still no difference. I read somewhere that it will be fixed if I remove all devices, delete app, turn on and off airplane mode, and then set it all up again, but I won’t do that cuz I have google nest Wi-Fi and I am renting out an apartment that uses the same router, if I reset everything I the WiFi will be down for a long time because of the long time it takes to set up all those nest Wi-Fi pods.
anyone out there with a different solution???

Never mind guys, I spent all night researching, didn’t find anything….
but I thought I would give it one last try to un plug the power and re connecting it, and that’s what I did, but I forgot to plug it back in and found out about 7-10 minutes later, I plugged it in again and voilà it works again!😂😄
no matter what you problem is UN PLUG DEVICE and wait for 10 min or more! It won’t do any harm, unless it is the Wi-Fi router😂

I did this same thing and it resolved all of my issues as well. Thank you!
