Thanks for reaching out. I know the feeling when your Google Home/Nest device is not responding. Have you tried the steps provided by @MplsCustomer? Just to add, it is best if you could reboot your router as well to refresh the connection. Also, make sure that you speaker is within 15-20 ft. away from the router for better network signal.
