Hi Happyglenn,

Thanks for posting. I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing this situation with your speaker group that is not getting the voice command to control the volume. But don't worry; I can help. In this case, you can try to delete your speaker group and create it again.

Here is how:

  1. Make sure your phone or tablet is connected to the same Wi-Fi or linked to the same account as your speaker, display, Google streaming devices, or Pixel Tablet.
  2. Open the Google Home app.
  3. Tap Settings > Devices, groups & rooms > Speaker groups.
  4. Select the group you want to delete.
  5. Tap Delete group > Remove or Delete.

Now you can create the speaker group again:

  1. Make sure your phone or tablet is connected to the same Wi-Fi or linked to the same account as your speaker, display, Google streaming devices, or Pixel Tablet.
  2. Open the Google Home app.
  3. Tap Settings  Devices, groups & rooms > Speaker groups > Create a speaker group.
  4. Tap each device that you want to add to the group. A check will appear next to each selected device.
  5. Tap Next, enter a name for your group, and tap Save.

You can check detailed information about this information on the "Create and manage speaker groups in the Google Home app" article.

Please let me know how that goes. I'll be waiting for your response.

Best regards,

Jenny
