I see these posts were closed by Google because they didn't care. Keep posting till they stop pushing annoying features at us with no option to opt out.

Locking a thread and creating a new one is no way to resolve issues. Ignoring user requests is not first class customer service. Google has so many dead threads containing much the same concerns its clear Google doesn't care about their customers and will continue to force whatever Google thinks is best on its users until there are non users left.
