What command to use to see the clock on Nest Hub?

On my Nest Hub 2, the command "go home" doesn't show the clock screen, but takes me to the home menu page. i used to tell "ambiant mode" to show me the clock, wich worked, but since the last update i get an error message after that command. What can i ask it now in order to show the clock face?

Same here.  "Go to Ambient" was part of my saved morning routine which plays radio and then goes back to the clock so I can actually use my nest hub to tell the time instead of just a massive BBC RADIO logo which is useless to me. Now I get an error message every morning, as ambient mode no longer works.

Hi folks,

@Buzzy, @justme8765, this is not the experience we want you to have; let us help you. A few questions: which Nest speakers are we working with? Are they both Nest Hub (2nd Gen)? When did your issue begin? Were there any recent changes made aside from the update?

It would help a lot if you could do a sequential reboot first:

  1. Unplug the power cord of your router, followed by your Nest speakers.
  2. Plug them back in after 3 minutes.
  3. Restarting your phone might also help.

Also, kindly send us the firmware version of your devices for us to isolate further. Follow the steps below:

  1. Open the Google Home app Google Home app.
  2. Touch and hold your device's tile.
  3. Tap Settings  and then Device information.
  4. Under "Technical information," check for Cast firmware: "X.XXX.XXXXX." If the device is on Fuchsia, check for System firmware version: "X.XXXXXXXX.X.XXXXXXX"

Check the version on your Nest display:

  • Swipe up from the bottom of the display screen.
  • Tap Settings  and then About device. You should find your "Cast firmware version."
    • For Nest Hub (1st gen) and Nest Hub Max: If “Fuchsia Version” is also listed, this means your device runs Fuchsia.

Keep us posted.

Best,

Dan
