Dear Google Community,
I am a proud user of Google Home Nest devices, and I have been incredibly pleased with their functionality and convenience. However, I noticed that one essential feature for tamil peoples is currently missing - support for the Tamil language.
As a Tamil speaker and enthusiast, I believe it is crucial to promote linguistic diversity and inclusivity, especially when it comes to technology. Tamil is one of the oldest and widely spoken languages in the world, with a rich cultural heritage and millions of speakers globally. Many other languages have already been incorporated into Google Home Nest devices, making them more accessible and user-friendly to diverse communities.
I am curious to understand the reasons behind the absence of Tamil language support on Google Home Nest devices. Is there any specific technical challenge or constraint that prevents its implementation? Alternatively, is Google actively working on including Tamil language support in the future updates?
Furthermore, I would like to request the community's support in advocating for the inclusion of Tamil language on Google Home Nest devices. I believe that by raising awareness and showing the demand for this feature, we can encourage Google to take necessary actions to cater to the needs of Tamil-speaking users.
I look forward to hearing from fellow community members and, if possible, from any Google representatives who can shed light on this matter. Let us work together to make our favorite smart home devices more inclusive and linguistically diverse.
Thank you for your attention and support.

Hi Kapilraj,
Thanks for visiting the Google Nest Community.
We are grateful to you for sharing your thoughts about some improvements on Google Home, especially with the supported Assistant languages. We're always looking for ways to improve and we'll take it as feedback. I also suggest that you send feedback by following this link. We don’t have any news to share when Tamil language will be supported, but we continuously add features that are suggested by our users.
If you have other questions in mind, let me know; otherwise, I'll be locking this thread in the next 24 hours.
Cheers,
Alex
