Hi 12sanjay,

Are you trying to play YouTube music or YouTube video?

Google Nest audio speakers don't have a screen so are not seen as devices that video can be cast to.

Regards,
Cathal

Hi again,

Can you let us know what command you are using? Can you cast from a mobile device?

Does the Nest hub give any response or error codes?

Regards,
Cathal

Hello,

By using Handphone I'm not able to cast but previously there wasn't an issue.

Can you cast from other apps?

Are you using the latest version of the YouTube music app?

Are you connected with the same WiFi network as your Nest audio speaker?

What make, model and Android operating system is your phone?

The more information you can provide then the easier it will be for someone trying to help you.

Regards,
Cathal

Hello,

Usually cast with youtube only.

Yes, updated version.

I'm able to speak to the nest but not able to communicate through the handphone and command it to play it from youtube.

I'm currently using S21 Samsung.

Thank you.

Can you please share a screenshot of your phone screen.

Hello,

I've sent the screenshot through email, "not playing"

No matter playing from YouTube, vanced, Spotify and even from shazam it stated as "not playing"

Thank you.

Hi Sanjay,

I believe that only youtube premium membership allow you to cast music from your device to nest  speakers. Unless you are in the US, Canada, Mexico or Japan.

Hey 12sanjay,

Appreciate the assistance, Cathal_S.

To make sure, are you using Google Nest Wifi or Google Nest speakers? What's the message you're getting from your device when you command it to play music? Also, what country are you located in?

Make sure your Google Home app is signed with the same account that you're using with your YouTube music. Also, if you have a premium account, you'll hear specific songs/albums/artists while a free one will only give you music inspired by the song/album/artist.

Looking forward to your response.

Best,

Alex

Hey 12sanjay,

Happy to hear that you found an alternative way to cast and play music on your Google Nest WiFi. It looks like we can consider this one complete, so I will lock the thread shortly unless I can help out with anything else.

Cheers,
