audio routines not working

I have multiple routines set up to play music on Spotify at a specific time or when I say a command, lately they have not been working and even when I go into the app and click to make the routines start they do everything until it has to plat music then it says "Sorry something went wrong, when you're give it another try." I've looked to see if it needs an update or if I misspelled the playlist I put in but I haven't. If there is something I can do to fix this issue please tell me, thank you.

Hi @izzyg , I am having the same issue.

I tried resetting the device, uninstalling google home app and still does not work. Really would like to know the issue here as I cannot use it since 12 hrs ago. Hopefully, someone will answer us. 🙂

i have exactly the same problem. Hoping to find some answers, i found that i’m not the only one suffering. Hoping to get an answer as soon as possible.

Thanks for sharing details about the issue here. I know how challenging it can be when you're having issues on your Google Home/Nest devices. A few questions: when did the issue start? What specific Google Home/Nest device do you have? Are you having issues playing music via voice command? Have you tried other music services?

 

To isolate the issue, please try setting up a "Test" routine. Put the same actions then set different music services like YouTube Music or a radio station from TuneIn. Let's see if your device will have the same behavior.
