can not adjust speaker volume on Google home speakers wit voice command.

My Nest speakers will no longer respond to voice commands to raise or lower the volume.  I get a message that "I can not adjust the volume on this device".  Rebooting the speakers and deleting and recreating the group has not resolved the problem.

You're not alone. Google is well aware and is for the most part not acknowledging the issue. Myself and others have been told that this is being worked on, but to my knowledge no one has heard anything official from G other than support reps and no one has identified a fix that lasts.

 

Very frustrating.

 

I recommend adding yourself to Suzique's post and sending feedback to G. You can say, "feedback" to your speaker and follow prompts. Best of luck to you and all of us.
