can't watch tv shows from my google chromecast tv on my nest hub

if i ask my nest hub "watch big bang theory on hbo max on tv" it say "i can not find tv, use the device name instead", although the device name is the correct one and it is linked with the same account in google home and is on the same wi-fi network

What did you name your Chromecast device? You can check this in your Google home app, your devices should come up and it will have a tv icon-next to that will be the device name. For instance, mine is "attic tv", so when talking to my nest hub, I have to say "play ___ on attic tv"

i named it "TV"

It could have trouble processing a device name like that. Maybe try renaming your tv and see if that helps

What I'm trying to do is exactly the other way around. I try to cast TV shows from my Google Cast TV to my Nest Hub

And one more thing... I can't add anything other than Netflix to my video services in Google Home.

Thanks for the additional details you’ve shared. Casting from Chromecast to your Nest Hub is not supported. I'd suggest you submit feedback about it. See the article below on how to do it. With regards to your Netflix concern, from which country are you contacting us? Not all countries are supported by Netflix on the Nest Hub. I am sorry for the confusion. The only video service i am able to add is Netflix. But i want to add other services, like HBO or or Prime Video. I was able to add those to my Chromecast, but i can't add them to my Nest Hub. Is Netflix the only video service available for Nest Hub?

I'm contacting you from Romania. I have successfully linked Prime video, HBO Max, Digi and Netflix with my Chrome Cast, but i can link only Netflix with my Google Home.
