google home kitchen speaker -cannot add to shopping list, though I get the response "eggs" added

Suddenly, I can add to my shopping list despite google home nest speaker responding that it has been added to shopping list

Hi angerayd,

This is not the experience we want you to have; let me help you. A few questions: which Nest speakers are we working with? When did your issue begin? Were there any recent changes made?

It would help a lot if you could do a sequential reboot first: 

1. Unplug the power cord of your router, followed by your Nest speakers.
2. Plug them back in after 3 minutes.
3. Restarting your phone might also help.

Once done, try the commands below:

• "Hey Google, create a [store] shopping list."
• "Hey Google, create a list called [store] shopping."
• "Hey Google, add cereal to my shopping list."
• "Hey Google, what's on my shopping list?"
