grey blinking screen

Can someone help me my Google nest hub second generation keeps blinking on and off. It shows the gray screen as soon as it loads up to turn on, but it keeps blinking on and off I’ve tried to factory reset it that won’t work however everyone keeps saying contact Google support, but you don’t get anywhere when contacting Google support They don’t have a contact number and this is so annoying. I’ve also tried to unplug it and plug it back in. That still hadn’t worked. I’m not buying another one. This simply just shows that I’m not buying any more Google products because the most frustrating part about it is you can’t get any support when you need it.

Thank you for posting in the community. I apologize that your Nest Hub 2nd Gen shows a gray screen and keeps blinking on and off. I understand how frustrating this must be. I'm here to help.

For further assistance, I need to ask a few questions:

  • Is the Nest Hub 2nd Gen plugged directly into a wall outlet or surge protector?
  • When the Nest Hub 2nd Gen is plugged into the wall outlet, does it show any LED lights that indicate that it has power? If yes, what colors does it show?
  • Are other devices able to receive power from the same outlet?
  • Is the official power adapter that came with the Nest Hub 2nd Gen used on the device?
  • Have you tried to use another wall outlet?
  • When did the situation begin?
  • Was there any type of electrical outage around the time the situation began?
  • Do you have another Nest Hub? If yes, have you tried to use the power adapter from one that currently works?
