mini Nest Speaker Issues

We have a mini Nest Smart Speaker. It was up and running with Spotify (the free version). We decided to add the premium version of Spotify. Things went wrong!

I decided to reboot the speaker and now it won’t talk to our WiFi. I have restarted the router, the speaker and reinstalled the ‘Home’ app on our android phone. The speaker will still not connect to WiFi. What’s more I cannot find the premium Spotify product on ‘Home’.

The Smart speaker is now useless.

Help please.

Hi Smoaklands,

 

I know how it feels when something isn’t working the way it should. Let’s take some troubleshooting steps.

 

  • Uninstall and reinstall the Google Home app.
  • Factory reset your Google Nest Mini.
  • Go through the set-up steps and link your Spotify premium account.
