"I can’t reach the internet right now, check your modem or router connections and try again"

I have a handful of Google Nest speakers, a Google Home, and a Google Home Max. All speakers work fine, except my Google Home Max regularly (multiple times a day) disconnects from the internet and replies with "I can’t reach the internet right now, check your modem or router connections and try again" when I call on it. Unplugging and plugging back in is a temporary fix. I've done two factory resets on the speaker, but the issue always comes back. I've unplugged/plugged back in my router/modem. Nothing fixes it long term. How can I fix this?
