"There was a glitch"

Hi

I just bought two Google speakers and I am not happy with them at all: more often than not, they refuse to do what I tell them. The main response I get is 'there was a glitch, please try again in a few seconds' or 'something went wrong' (but what went wrong, I have no idea). Sometimes 'the content can not be found' (the content being the same radio station I play- or try to play - every day). I have tried in different languages (UK English and Belgium Dutch). After four or five retries, the speakers tend to oblige... or I pull the plug, since I can't even stop them sometimes when they are playing music.

A second frustration is that I created a group for the two speakers, but when they speak to me, they are not in sync. When playing music, they are in sync.

Please help, or advise. I am on the verge of sending them back (or throwing them against a wall). (I have 19 days left to return them.)

I expected better from Google/Nest...

Kind regards

Jeroen

Hi jeroenswinnen,

I apologize for the inconvenience you're experiencing. We'll work together to identify the cause of the problem and find a solution. A few questions: what Google Nest speakers are we working with? What is their distance from your Wi-Fi router? Also, what troubleshooting steps have you taken so far?

You can refresh your devices and observe if it makes a difference. First, reboot your Wi-Fi router, and once the network is back up, do the same thing to your Google Nest speaker or display.

Check out the links below to know more about the speaker group and pairing two speakers for stereo sound.
