"hundred" heard as "thousand"

If I say "What's seven hundred and five divided by sixty", I get the incorrect answer "116.75".

If I then say "repeat last question", it says it heard "what's 7005/60".  I tried this on a 1st gen google home and my android 12 phone, making sure there was no background noise, and trying several times speaking clearly.

Can anyone else reproduce this?

HI @SunnyRio

The query works correctly for me. I would suggest asking the Assistant on your Nest device again then immediately after tell your device "Okay Google, share feedback" and then record your message.

Rebooting your device may also help as well as clearing the Google app's cache.

Is this cache common to both devices?  I asked a speaker and my phone seperately and they both got it wrong.

Obviously rebooting the device isn't going to help since I used two devices.

The Google and the Google Home app's cache could be cleared and support will usually recommend trying that along with the reboot of the device that is replying.  Apologies for omitting the Home app in my prior reply.😎

If you try all that and still having the issue please let us know here and also send that feedback report.

Before I take the time to do this, please answer what I asked.  Is the cache common to both devices?  If they have their own caches, this cannot be the problem.  Two seperate devices have the same error.

Hi everyone,

Thanks for the help here, JillG.

SunnyRio, same with JillG, our devices (Google Nest device and phone’s Google Assistant) are working correctly with the command. To further isolate this, what's the language and region set on your phone and Google Assistant settings? Also, let’s retrain your voice. Open the Google Home app > Settings > Google Assistant > Voice Match > Teach your Assistant your voice again. Reboot both your Google Home and phone once more, and then give it another test command. Let me know how it goes.

Best,
Alex

They're correctly set to English UK.  I've retrained my voice in the past, it doesn't help.  It's just not that good at understanding certain words from certain people.  Even people seem to confuse the words two and three when I read them over the phone, I don't know why.  I've asked people in person and they can clearly tell what number I'm saying.  I think my voice doesn't transmit electronically very well!
