Ok, so when are Google going to fix this !!! It's absolutely ridiculous.  I have recently spent a fair bit of money switching back to Google Home/Nest Audio Speakers ( four of them) from Alexa, which I still have sitting in boxes in a cupboard, waiting to be reconnected.

I have read all the trouble shooting and I am more than familiar with this system, so it's a case of Google FIXING this rather than offering the same basic troubleshooting.

I have also sent the usual feedback via my Pixel 8 device.   I have not other 3rd party speakers in my home, all I have is Google Pixel 8, a Google Pixel book Go, a Google Chromecast and a Google Pixel watch, so there's no excuse for this. I'll persist with this until Christmas and if not EXTREMELY better, I will be reconnecting my Alexa speakers.

It's okay everyone, with all this hassle and looking at unanswered questions from Google on this topic and their terrible reviews, all my Google Speakers are packed and are up for sale.  I am so happy, I kept hold of my Alexa speakers, she is all connected up and working as it should....plain and simple.
