Hello community,
Note I'm not looking for confirm it's confirmed by few my friends.
When we try to open Youtube links from any apps (CineFish, Lampa, NUM etc) where there are links to Movie trailers, the Chromcast shows message "There isn't app to open that" (???)
Tried to un/reinstall YT, install other substitute apps like SmartTubeNext, SnapTube, NewPipe etc and etc. but anyway - always the same error message.
But the same movie trailers works within Plex app, IMDb: Movies & TV Shows, Cinexplore-Movie & TV Tracker and so on apps.
Any suggestion what could we do ?

Hey there TopperBG,
That is correct. Currently, the Chromecast cannot open YouTube links in the same way that a phone or computer can.In this case, you could always open the link on another device and then cast it to the Chromecast. However, like Jennifer suggested, this is something that the Chromecast engineering team could look into with sufficient feedback regarding the feature.
I hope that helps, and let us know if you have any more questions.
Best regards,
Jeran

cHello TopperBG,
Thanks for reaching out. I'm afraid that isn't supported. We always recommend to cast or stream directly from a Chromecast-enabled app to get the best experience of your device.
We're always looking for ways to improve and we'll take this as feedback. I'd also suggest you send feedback about this via Google TV. Here's how.
Let me know if you still have questions and concerns otherwise, I'll be locking this thread after 24 hours.
Best,
Jennifer

Hey there TopperBG,
Like Jennifer suggested, we'd recommend that you submit feedback via Google TV to let Google know that this is a feature you'd like to see on the Chromecast. The more feedback Google receives regarding a specific feature, the more likely they are to prioritize it.
Let me know if there is anything else we can help with.
Best regards,
Jeran

Nothing much to do. Just give feedback in Google TV.
