Hi, is there a way to remove the sponsored banner?

(SONY PICTURES CORE Bad Boys: Ride or Die FULLSCREEN ADVERTISEMENT wohoo ._. ),

Using the Apps Only mode, and it just feels unnecessary to have an advertisement on the homescreen.

Never wanna support Google again.

Currently, it's not possible to turn off sponsors from the apps-only mode on Chromecast or Google TV. However, you can control the Use of your advertising ID to get personalized apps across apps instead.
