Like the title States my Chromecast is randomly turning off and/or switching input channels. I have tried a factory reset and that didn't do anything any advice would be helpful.
PS. The input changing usually happens after it has switched off

Hi Snugz,
Not sure which Chromecast you are using but try a different HDMI input on your TV. Power the Chromecast with the wall outlet if you are not already.

I've done this, but no luck.

Extra info, it almost feels like as if it were someone else controlling a chromecast. Like if they were turning theirs on (and ours off) and switching inputs. I am wondering if it is possible for a neighbour to have one that would interfere with ours.

Hi Snugz,
I'm sorry for the late response. Could you tell us the type of Chromecast device that you have? As long as your neighbor is not connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your Chromecast, they should not be able to control your Chromecast device.
Please reboot your Chromecast. Plugging it into a different TV screen if one is available might also help.
Thanks,
Jennifer
