I have the new 4k chromecast and I have full volume no matter what I do, crazy. Zero on the TV zero in the app. I have connected the TV to speaker via optical, I guess the problem or solution is there but it wasn't any problem with the old chromecast. So is my product broken or worse, they made a new chromecast with a stupid solution that always put out max volume?

Thanks for reaching out and I'm sorry to hear about that. Could you please disconnect your speaker to your TV and test if the same issue will persist? Rebooting the Chromecast and plugging it on a different HDMI port on your TV might also help.
