My Apple iPhone and Macbook won't stay connected to Chromecast and won't cast to my tv. All devices are on the same wifi signal and up to date. I started having the issue with my 2nd gen Chromecast and assumed it stopped working due to age and use after doing multiple factory resets and wifi restarts. Bought a new Chromecast and am having the same issue. I restart my router and my iPhone and Macbook will recognize the Chromecast to the point where I can cast it to the tv with no issue for hours on end but once I stop casting it disconnects and will not recognize Chromecast or be able to cast until I restart my wifi router again. Same goes for the Google Home app. The Chromecast will not connect and it directs me to the wifi despite the Chromecast working and being ready to cast. I'm confused as to what the issue is. I'm assuming its on the Apple/iOS end because I have no issues with either of my Apple products or my Chromecast recognizing or working with wifi. The issue seems to be that Apple isn't communicating with Chromecast despite the wifi.
