Google nest battery camera connection issue when battery below 50%

I've had an indoor Nest Cam for a few months and I've noticed that when the battery is full I can view live video without any problem but once the battery drops to below 50% it won't connect. I've also noticed I'm getting a lot of disconnects as well...
