This is all pointless. I just connect my phone to my speaker home group
and use the app from there and it all works. Actually have an old phone
connected to wireless and I'm set from a playing standpoint, but the
extra effort is not ideal.
This has been going on for me for months now as well and you would think
someone would have fixed it as soon as whatever change Google did
impacted users.
