Not sure where the router is in all of this, but I would keep it on the
main floor with a pod in the basement and on top floor. If the router is
in the basement, it will have issues communicating to the top pod and
affect the mesh. I've got mine set ...
It's sad...the Nest System is not cheap, especially when you get
additional points. And it's not any cheaper to transition to a new
system. You would think a premium product would operate like one.
So what I'm gathering after reviewing this entire thread, is that there
is currently no solution?I've got Telus Fiber Optic Gigabit internet
running through a Nokia modem, one router and 2 points over 1200 Sq ft.
My TV is Google TV through Chromecast...
Nothing aside from what I last posted. I kind of gave up but tried it
again and I was able to get them working for an entire movie, which was
nice. If the issue persists, I'll likely reset the devices and try
again.
