Hi there again, so.. you're instructions are spot on although unfortunately rendered the same results. I'll continue to use VPN untill hopefully this fixed itself or if any patch or update comes along. Already tried looking and refreshing for updates...

I do have it set as a modem, since I plugged my nest I disabled router function and disabled both 2g and 5g wlan so that only my nest acts as the main router along side another nest as my 2nd point to bring forth the mesh network. Still blocking NETF...
